Writing leave application to the principal is a very importiant matter to the students and guardians. It is not so hard thing that they think. If you read some sample or format carefully, you will understand it. So i have presented about seven samples in this article. Both student and guardian can write this letter or application for leave. Student can write it for himself and guardian can write it for their children.
- If you feel health or other problem after going to school, you can write this application.
- You have not gone to school and you need some days leave. In this case, you can write this application.
- Suppose your child is ill. You can compose the letter for leave.

Receiving address: At first you should write receiving address such as “To the principal, to the head master, to the head mistress”.
Date: Mention the date when you are writing and submitting it.
Subject: Here you should write a short sentence or phrase that will give an idea about the letter.
Salutation: You can use “Respected sir/ madam, Sir/Madam,” in the salutation.
Body: You should write your topic in a simple and polite language. After finishing the body of the letter you should write “Thanking You”.
Subscription: We often write “Your sincerely/ Faithfully/ Regards” and then Sender’s Name/signature.
