Sir,

I request you to permit me to ventilate my opinions through the columns of your daily about the price hike of L.P.G.

Recently the prices of L.P.G are going up month by month. It is a formidable problem for the common folk and affects their social and economic life. The price of an L.P.G cylinder is above one thousand rupees. As a result, they can not buy cooking gas. They are going on an alternative way. Before, they were getting a subsidy. Not it is said that there is no subsidy. In rural areas, people of the lower and middle classes are not using cooking gas.

Please insert this representation in your daily and draw attention of the authority to control the harassing problems of the price hike of L.P.G.

Thanking you

Respected sir,

Please permit me to express through the columns of your prestigious daily my grievance against the price rise of cooking gas.

Nowadays, the price of cooking gas is beyond one thousand. It is not possible for lower-class families to buy the cylinders. The rise in prices of commercial gas cylinders had an impact on hotels and restaurants. Traders were affected. Prices had also gone up in the case of home delivery. Ordinary people in rural areas are using fuelwood, hay, tree leaves, and tree branches as an alternative to cooking gas. The working-class people are struggling to support their families. Consequently, a complicated situation is made.

I hope that you would kindly highlight the issue in your editorial to raise public opinion against the price rise of cooking gas so that it will draw the attention of the Government.

Thanking you
